Melancholy
Allow me this moment
To be melancholy--
To throw away the niceties,
The compliments
And complements.
Allow me to undress
The corsets of my days,
To untie the corners of my smiles,
And just curl up
Inside my sighs.
Allow me to untangle from
The cordial sure's and fine's,
From the needs and needs and needs
